Yeah I will have to check all my measurements at this point since the carrier bearing wasn't the fix. I read through that post and was hoping the fact the vibes didn't go away with the driveline removed in 2wd that meant it has nothing to do with angles at this point.

No it doesn't go away in 4WD on straight road. I was thinking it may be the ECGS/clamshell bearing replacement for the needle bearing too but not sure at this point since that didn't seem to change the vibes. I did get larger tires with the lift running 285/70/17 but the shaking started before the tires were picked up.

    I hate thieves!!! :annoyed:

Seems my personal info is making the rounds again, who knows from what breach this time (or old breach). Someone in Boise/Nampa used my Best Buy account last weekend to buy a phone and Playstation. I noticed right away (before their Fraud Dept caught it) because of email alerts. Account now closed, charges disputed, but it is still a pain in the ass.

Then today I received a letter from Macy's/Amex Card, saying my application can't be processed further due to a credit freeze at Experian (I'm frozen at all of them due to fraudulent account openings last year.) Thing is, I HAVEN'T applied for a Macy's Amex Card! Thankfully my credit is frozen (and is working, good to know...). :locked:

I still need to call them and see how it happened, when, and if they managed to get any charges placed in the interim. In other words, did they get a conditional approval instantly at the terminal?

So the moral of the story is, if you don't have your credit frozen at the 3 bureaus already, you absolutely should. I highly recommend it. If you don't have an active fraud case, you do have to pay a nominal fee to get it placed. Yes, it kind of sucks when you want to apply for credit and have to do the temporary lift, etc. but that inconvenience is minimal in my opinion.

Also, I highly recommend an identity theft service. I have ARAG through my work that I pay for (it's pretty cheap), but also have 2 other active identity theft monitoring companies due to 3rd party breaches.

    Thieves suck! :brianr:

Anyone ever heard of or used Sa-Go Auto Repair in Bellevue off of bel-red? They're who the dealer subs the frame swap to.

    http://www.sa-goauto.com

Word is they take it in on a Thursday, and bang it out over the weekend. In a perfect scenario I should have my truck back the following Monday/Tuesday after a Toyota master tech inspects it back at the dealer.

I wish they'd brand the foreheads of thieves for the whole world to know, apparently thats cruel and unusual punishment. They have more rights than the people they steal from it seems.:bananadead:

Anyone who steals my identity would be in for a big disappointment. I pity the foo.

We were in Monterey, Cali in 2017 on cannery row and got a call from BECU fraud dept about a $977 charge in Rhode Island for an iPhone. We obviously couldn't be in two places at once and stated that that wasn't an authorized charge. The CC got closed and we were nearly up S creek but I luckily put another cc in my wallet.

    thieves SUCK!

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
I have active monitoring for free from the military because of the VA breach. I check every ATM and gas pump I use for a skimmer. Wallet is RFID blocking... And I've been using cash a lot more at places. It's gotten bad all over

The FTC changed that back in September or so if i remember right. I THINK its now law that they freeze/unfreeze for free (Consumer Protection something or another Act). Think they have to freeze it within one business day and unfreezing has to be within an hour. You do have to remember to do it with all three if doing it yourself though.

Still shitty you have to deal with it!

That is good advice. I’m sadly very trusting and just hope people are all good. Have you found a skimmer before? What do they look like?

No, but had a friend find one at the gas station. Looked identical to the normal card slot. I always grab it and shake it before I put the card in the slot. Same goes for when the wife is in bed...

Got back from vacation and started on my bumper. Bought the cheap HF paint gun and it works great. Very little smell compared to rattle can since there are no propellants or aerosols. I'm a noob at painting but the primer came out great with no drips or streaks.

Checking the card scanner is one means of defense, but the latest thing is to open the pump and place the card skimming device inside as opposed to the false card scanner we can see externally. One way to look for internal tampering is pumps are routinely checked internally and a sticker is placed across the seem where the cabinet opens. If the sticker is broken it's been unlawfully opened, or the inspector was lazy and didn't replace it That said we've seen pumps that were checked and sealed that had skimmers inside that the person doing the internal check missed.
