    They definitely have the CB spacer kit, it may not be listed for our trucks, but the one they sent me worked perfectly.

    It's listed for 2nd gens, but it fits 1st gens. I bought it a couple months ago and installed it just fine, it's just a simple spacer with a hole for the bolt to slide through. The bolts are the same size as the ones our trucks use. Fits perfectly.

    What do you guys use for navigation inside the truck when you're out on the trail? For too long I've been relying on printed maps and taking those with me on trails where we lose reception, or relying on others in the group to lead that have GPS navigation. Wanting to find some kind of aftermarket device I can mount inside the truck and use GPS to see where I'm at and where I'm going. Any recommendations?

    I have my phone on with the screen set to stay on Backcountry Navigator. It's nice, you can load it with your maps and lots of extra details before you go on your trip so it's all cached.

    I've started fumbling around with GAIA GPS. Some buddies use it and love it. I still don't know how to fully operate it yet, but it looks like it'll be good.

    That's what I have started using and I know a few others that use it as well. Still learning it but it seems to work well. I like it better than Backcountry Navigator so far.

    How thick are those spacers? 1/2"?

    I use an 8" samsung tablet and use the Backcountry Navigator app. I also use APRSDroid with my 2 meter ham.

    Garmin makes shitty software and raster maps. (that means FIXED zoom levels that I have always found to not show icons/data when you are zoomed out and you have to zoom in SO FAR that you have no context).

    I use Gaia. It will take time to learn, but once you do (and pay for Premium for access to the useful maps) you'll not regret it.
