iPhone 4 jailbreak!

What about the guys over on iphonehacks.com they have had it for awhile. I used there advice on my last few breaks. I don't have the i4 yet, waiting on Apple to make a few changes....

 

Hmm... this is the Dev Team's jailbreak.. haven't heard of them..

 

This jailbreak exposes a large danger in iOS 4, the ability to hack a phone by visiting website using the safari browser and clicking a link.

Apple will be very fast to issue a patch to fix this problem, because its so dangerious to users.

But, I hear that the Dev Team has another method of Jailbreaking that will take Apple longer to fix. For some reason they decided to release this method first.

 

stupid question but can i jailbreak my itouch from that site as well? someone told me to look up spirit jailbreak. havent had a chance to do anything yet,

Im way pleased with the 4 so far. Dont see the need to jailbreak either.

 

I don't need it to be honest.. but i still do it just for the hell of it.

The only reason I will jailbreak is to use teathering over WiFi.

MyWi is a one time $10 purchase and can turn you iPhone into a mobile Wifi hot spot.

AT&T allows teathering now, but they charge you $20 a month and it only connects with 1 device and only uses USB cable or Bluetooth.

 

Plus to tether you have to get a capped data plan, you can't have unlimited data.

Jailbroke mine yesterday and loving it. Downloaded my3g for facetime, along with the tethering app which I'm using right now, and works really good.

 

how fast is it when you tether it? is it just like having 3g on your comp?

& is anyone else running video backgrounds thru winterboard? everythime i plug it in the vid freezes and i have to re-spring it. everything else works fine tho...

Are they fixing all the reception issues finally? I have to have a jailbroken phone for work, and I think that's really the only reason I haven't gotten the iPhone 4 yet. It can be jailbroken and unlocked now? I think in Dec or Jan when I'm in the states again for a bit I'll get it.
