so im having a major issue on my kings shock that i purchased..

    fronts went in fine..

rears, the spherical joint on the lower shock that mounts to the lower bolt hole.. well that spherical joint is too wide for the bolt hole.

now my car is on jackstands.. waiting for a response from rogue offroad.

did i get the wrong kit? or they just put the wrong spherical joint?

Spread that shackle hanger out and it should squeeze in there. Take a large crescent/adjustable wrench and put it on one side, find some leverage and bend it a tad on each side

On the instructions it says some folks may need to flare out the tabs. But yours looks really tight.

Understood, people have also had to grind to get it to fit. The stock shackle is to thin, I believe they grond the shock.

Also if worse comes to worse just throw the stocks back on until Rogue gets back to you.

thats what i was thinking.. just thin out the spherical bushing instead.. i can do that with a grinder.. but i would rather not do it if this is the wrong bushing

way to big, i had the same issue before with a set of shocks from Downsouth, not sure if king themselves put in the wrong bushing.

I wonder if the mounting brackets are different ever so slightly from model to model, sport, off road, limited, pro??

Negative on that so far. Was so hard i even grinded down the bushing and said you know what let me take it to king. They said it was wrong and swapped it for free @JaCado

Rear shocks are easy. Just put the old ones back on til you get it sorted.

Glad you didn’t bend those out, those misalignment spacers look too big
