    Solenoid problem :notsure:

What I’m saying is at least the winch/drum is not the problem. Prob be a bigger headache. Nice quick diagnostic tho! I remember being cross country I had winch issue, I had to bypass the kill switch solenoid and direct connect winch cables to the battery. Sucked in the moment. Always good to fix it better than it was..

It won't work for @boogie3478 his has a locker so that's a different diff skid since it has the big electronic locker thingy.

May not work since you have the e-locker diff and this is for the non-elocker just a heads up. I think they are different.

On Rci website it doesn’t mention anything about whether or not it would work on an OR. I was wondering the same

Gotcha I thought that there was a difference I remember reading it somewhere maybe it's BAMF. I know some places make skids just for the e-locker motor.

Yeah I may wire up some in cab winch controls as well. That way if this happens again (a pin breaks) it won’t matter.

After seeing Ronny Dahl's winch videos I'll be going wireless and staying far away from the cab of the truck. That shit was scary even with dynema rope vs. the cable.

Unfortunately that’s not always an option though. If pulling yourself over an obstacle, gotta be in the drivers seat. If winching someone else, more often than not I find I need to be in the drivers seat as well. The parking brake alone isn’t enough to keep the truck from sliding. Plus on a heavy pull I raise the RPMs to get more juice flowing from the alternator.

I'll call RCI today and check. And I do have that small skid from All-Pro for the e-locker.

Well, I wanted to do that names in red like you did but that was so unique I thought I'd be different and just combine all the really cool, and close people I know on TW onto the access plate. This is how it turned out. :D

I just got off the phone with Tim at RCI and explained it was a 2014 Off Road with the rear locker and he said no fitment problems at all. He also confirmed drain plug location is on the Passenger Side.

FYI, he also confirmed that the pumpkin diameters are definitely different between 2nd Gen and 3rd Gen, mine being larger which is why the bottom was hitting the inside of the skid before the dog ears were hitting the axle tubes.

It looks a little orange in the pic but it is crayola red in person. I wanted to pay homage to Jaime and Mike.

Well, that was Tim, the RCI Technical Service guy. He seemed to know what he was talking about though. I was very explicit when I was stating the year of B's truck and the model, and that it had a locker. The diff diameter thing was dead on though. No way could I make it work even if I redrilled another hole. Unless I propped the dog ears up on blocks of wood and drove over the skid to try to bend it. Randall and I decided I better not try that. Now, that is not to say he, or any of you could pull that off but me, that's a different story.
