285/70/17 is a 32.7in tire. Crazy you rub that much with it.

I was thinking of going with a 315/70/17. :anonymous:

Yeah I was a little surprised myself. I seem to rub more than others. Im not looking forward to when the time comes to move up to 35's. It's going to be a lot more work.

Not that it's really any difference but Goodyear claims the 285 mtr is a true 33" tire.

That's a good plan. Just let it self clear. I will say for 35's/315's I cab mount relocate and fire wall clearing will likely be needed. I'll link you a build thread later for an Austin guy who's running this offset on his second gen with 35's.

Changes the function and changes all the lights in them to LED's. The turn signals moves from the top brake light to the bottom reverse in the reverse bucket with a white/amber LED and replaces the top 2 lights with LED's strictly for brake and running lights.

That's pretty tight. I always liked an amber turn signal

Me too and I feel moving it and making the entire top the brake is more noticeable and safer. Though it probably wont make a difference with all the idiots not paying attention on the road.

I buy things for the truck that make me feel good or that I just like for whatever reason. Typically just driving the truck is enough to be noticed, especially now with the swing out on the back. It probably helps more that the truck takes forever to stop with all the extra weight.

Had the truck aligned again on tuesday and its better but I'm still rubbing in reverse at full lock. Also had to trim the inside front fender a little due to rubbing. Next I need to stuff a wheel when locked to see where else its going to rub.

Just got home today from the best Toyota event around, The 2019 Lonestar Toyota Jamboree! Didnt end up really wheeling but just taking it as a great time off work with good people. I needed a break after how this year started off. I didnt take really any pictures and just a few of our camp and my truck.

Stayed fairly clean the first several hours.

Our hobo camp with @ETXTacoma @trekker @MellyMel and @n0troublen0fuss. Canopy's and tarps to try and have some dry space during the rain. Pretty pleased with my new canopy that I grabbed walls for. The walls are shade walls but did well with the rain.

@ChadsPride is like a new man out getting his tuck dirty all the time now!
    20190503_080016.jpg

On the last night I got a fire pit built! We should have done that sooner but with the rain and how things had been going we just never got around to it.

Finally home my truck was a mess after Jambo. No one ever knows how long the dirt will stay on my truck.

I dont think my job would appreciate me covering a spot in the parking garage with dirt and mud this week so I power washed most of it off. I wont say shes clean but the mud is gone.
    20190505_161434.jpg

A few additions that happened at Jambo that I will need to get pictures of:
@MESO 2019 Tacoma Total Tail Stage 2 Tail Lights - Installed 5/2/19 - Ended up trading my recently installed stage 1's with some $$$ and took the Depo pros off since they are letting dust inside after < 1 year.
Rago fabrication Bed rail quick release fire extinguisher mount - Installed 5/4/19
Baja Designs Squadron Sport Ditch lights - Needs to be installed
Tandem Manor Mount - Needs to be installed
Tandem Soft Shackle - In the truck ready for for use.
