    225 is heavy-ish tho. I can only rep it about 6 times

    ~8 months into this journey and got a job back on the road for 4 weeks. It’s presenting its own challenges but lately I’ve been struggling with cravings. As weird as that sounds.

    I see or hear about a badass place in town and want to try it. But then there’s supposed to be a badass BBQ place down the street. And then there’s awesome breakfast cafe too

    I want to try all these places since I’m a food lover. Like I will drive hours just to try food from a recommended place.

    But only one cheat meal a week makes it hard. I just want to take a break from this fitness and diet life and go crazy and eat everywhere but that’s the start of a downhill spiral.

    Kinda in that weird middle phase where I’m not trying to be a professional body builder but I also do want to look good and it gets hard with some choices on when you should stay strong and on the diet path or when you should relax and just live a “normal” life.

    I find that it's much tougher when traveling/away from home. I think of it as more mental, that being away from familiar makes the brain think that it's easier to cheat it. Also when you're just driving around exploring its always tough for me as I want to stop and grab something just cuz I'm driving by it.
    Careful and slow start it. You're getting old and you break easier. :D

    I agree. So today I had a big cheat meal breakfast and plan on starting a hard cut tomorrow. I hope being on a cut mindset will make it easier to resist.

    Plus I’ve maintained around 185-187 for a few months now so I wouldn’t mind dropping a little weight again anyway.

    Bench- 285
    Squat- 315
    Deadlift 385.

    I could probably bench and squat more but didn’t want to fail without a spotter or in front of people lol
