@1911tex i wish it was that simple. I’ve done everything aside from completely removing the upholstery from the seats since they’re under warranty from the installer. Funny enough after first install almost a year ago the did leave a tool.

Any more developments on this? I jut got home from a short road trip and decided to see if there was any posts on the problem. My 2012 did it and my 18 also has the seat shake when I'm above 60

Mine does it sometimes, but only on the harder bumps. I haven't had a chance to look underneath it yet, but the seat is definitely locked in the tracks.

No my appointment is for this Friday but I did find out while that if I pack the back seat full or a camping trip it doesn’t make the noise anymore :notsure:

@sparechange I’m happy to know I’m not alone. Sorry to hear you’re affected too. I think mines from the internals of the seat. I had the heating and cooling elements added during install and I’m pretty sure it’s just some of the plastic tubing/wiring rattling against the metal springs in there. Hope they can fix it.

Hey guys. Little update I took it in to get worked on and they secured/re-secured some of the internal components. Whatever they tightened helped a touch but didn’t completely remedy the issue. So I guess this is just gonna be a quirk the truck has. With it reduced it’s not nearly as bad. Sorry if this doesn’t help anyone else. Still love my truck and when I go into sound deadening the whole cab and doors in the next month I’ll screw with it again and hopefully that remedies.

    TLDR
Shop reduced rattle noise it’s more bearable.
Will be installing sound deadening in a month. Will update if I can “jerry” up a fix.

Mine does it. I can reproduce it by backhanding the seat just below the headrest . At first I thought I had something banging around in the door pocket. I was hoping someone would have a fix before I tear into it. I may look into it if I can find some time.

I sprayed the track with Lithium grease. I slid the seat all the way back and sprayed and then all the way forward and sprayed. Solved 85% of the problem. When the seat is in the middle position it still rattles a tiny bit. This solved it enough for me. I am done chasing this noise.
