Damn, sorry to hear that man. Got one that is getting a bit older, too, but he's still getting around pretty good.

RadarNow! is a good mobile app too see up to date radar. I've had their premium app ($2-$3 maybe?) for a couple of years now.

Pack for cold weather, you never know what the weather will be on top of Flagpole. I live maybe 30 mins from flagpole, I grew up hunting up there my whole life. We was up there 1 night hunting and had about a inch of ice on the floor boards inside the truck.

I got caught in a hell of a thunder storm on the AT in northern GA...came out of no where, was not in the forecast. By the time it hit we were finishing setting up camp, and we were 10mi in from the trailhead...it kept pouring rain until the next afternoon, so the hike back to the truck was NOT fun with no rain gear.

I don’t know if I’m going to camp at FP, I don’t know the area but I’ve seen if you can find a spot, it’s your’s.

Could just grab some cheap ones and modify both sets with a quick disconnect plug. Doubt it would be too hard.

Sorry to hear that man, that’s tough. Got two 11 year old pups myself and I dread that day.

Well this is wonderful. I'm on the side of the road with a flat tire, and my tool thAt came with my truck is too big to fit in the slot to lower the spare.
