What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

My wife is not a fan so im trying to talk her into it, what do you have dakars?

 

i used vinyl tape that has the pull away string in the center to cut

 

I changed out the spark plugs in my 4.0 over the weekend. It took me about an hour just taking my time. Normal 3 Denso 3 NGK original factory plugs.
50K miles and all looked good with the rear drivers side having a slightly darker deposit color than the rest. The Denso's gap was about .045-.047 the NGK's about .052-.055 so the Denso's seem to be wearing less. Replaced them with 6 Denso Platinum tipped gaped at .040-.042.

 

I'm about to matte black my hood scoop body line, roof and shell roof. Cant wait.

After I changed my plugs this weekend. I went ahead and tidied up under the hood a little.
Not bad for basically an 8 year old truck.

 

that looks beautiful.

 

installed some 3rd gen OR suspension,rides so much better considering it had the original suspension with 137k on them. gave me bout a 1in lift up front so about leveled it out and enough to go one size bigger on tires when the time comes. also washed her up since since the butterflies have been killer this time of year.

 

I changed plugs yesterday at 105000km. Never been done.


And over that last week I added a TRD pro grill and 4Runner Ltd wheels and tires.

was too easy. took less than 2 hours to do all 4. just make sure you place the correct color code on the proper side.

Red-green driver, red-blue passenger.

 

Did some work on my Total Chaos LCA skids. Ground with flapper disk, and sandblasted.




Only had time to put a layer of primer on, they will be orange again this week sometime.
