Tattoos, have none, but in Army bootcamp, Ft. Jackson, SC, me and another guy won the PT competition and got a weekend pass to Columbia, SC.

We were urged to get tattoos, handjobs and a finger, various things. Ended up getting bored with the shabbiness, decided to take a taxi back to the base. Redneck dude in a Camaro says he'll take us to the base for free. He seemed sober so we agreed.

Dude busted right through the MP's at the gate, oddly he knew exactly where our barracks were, went screaming through the post, slams on the brakes at our barracks, says "Free of charge, get out."

Does two 360's and rips out of there, better memory than a shitty tattoo.

I'm not a tattoo fan, but not a total hater. If I see a nice piece I can respect that, but one of my coworkers had an arm tattoo that he should just get lasered off. He had something in written latin then he had a cover up and now his arm looks like a mess.

I don't like breast or mons tattoos on women, but can go for a tribal tramp stamp.

    I don't have a thing about needles...BUT:

A buddy got a tattoo when in the Army (First Infantry Division). Many years ago.
He got a Big Red One tattoo with a bunch of other guys one night.
Got Hepatitis C. This was before HCV was even identified.
So he had an acute case, recovered (apparently), and finished his enlistment.
But he never fully recovered and it's chronic. I'll spare you the details.

    So there's that.
But I never really wanted one and I'm too old now anyway.

On the other hand, I have another buddy (a Libertarian) who has a bar code tattoo on his lower leg.
He says it's his protest against big government, and against people losing their individuality.
    Or something. :p
    I like that.

I paid $14 for two cups of beer last night at a concert. So by the time the show was over five hours later I could honestly say that I only had two beers.

Traded the Taco to my cousin for a '69 VW micro bus, a coon dog and a rusty coleman lantern. My question is: Does rough country make a lift for it that'll clear 33s? And is there an ovtune out there for it?

    Happy April Fools Day everybody!

Hey, don't sneer at the VW vans, coon dogs, or rusty Coleman lanterns. I have all three. An '03 Eurovan poptop camper, a Black Lab/hound mongrel, and TWO lanterns.

Got a coleman lantern myself. And would love to have a VW "hippie van". I just wouldn't trade my Taco for them. I'll pass completely on the coon dog.

Many moons ago when I was a youngin' I was in a motorcycle club. I got to be friends with one of the members and he invited me to go coon huntin'. Said he even had a half trained hound pup I could have if I wanted it. I'll try almost anything once so I went along. We are out on the river in the dark with flashlights and the dogs are going crazy after a coon. I got seperated from it all and didn't know what the hell I was doing. Just stumbling around in the dark. I just went back to the truck and that cured my coon hunting fever forever. I told him to keep the pup. :)

My tattoo story. I had a boss that was from Utah and he and his wife were Mormons. He was pretty cool and his wife very nice but very straight laced. He decided to have us all over to their house for dinner. It was a very nice affair with caviar, Cornish hens, etc. Everything was great until we all started getting lit and cutting up after dinner. Somehow the subject of tattoos came up. We were getting rowdy and my wife convinced the group that I had a barber pole tattoo. I'll never forget the look on my boss's wife's face. She was so relieved to get us out of her house that night.

Still have the '08 4Runner, but I do love these VW poptop campers, sweet mobile habitats. Had a '67 Westfalia and a '68 conversion also.

This '03 Eurovan is the best, LWB cargo van Winnebago converted. 9.5" ground clearance, nice approach/departure angles, good hillclimber offroad though only FWD, handles beautifully onroad.

The mongrel Lab/hound mix (a NM rez rescue) would probably run back to the van if she saw a coon. Dog is pretty much a 65lb couch potato.

I finally Googled 'mussentuchit, ut'. All the times I passed the exit sign on I-70 I figured some heathen started a town by that name. No, https://www.ksl.com/article/25484894

No but I'd like to party with them. We were more like Shriners on bikes. We had fund raisers, family friendly picnics and highway cleanups. Stuff like that. Any bike was welcome. I had a stock 900 Kawasaki. My buddy had a dressed out Honda Goldwing.
