    I work in the old field and would like to have the baddest Truck on the pad so with that said . I would like to be able to smoke the tires off this Taco. I've read these threads for a week now and know that Ovtune is essential and regearing to 4.88 or 5.29 would be best but hey I want every bit of info I can specifically for my truck. Btw I have no upgrades yet she is as stock as she gets.

    Buy a raptor if you want fast.

    Ov tune will help.
    Wait for possible forced induction system.

    If you regear to 5.29's ... you will for sure feel like you have more power, and will spin the rear tires easily... but youll also have a greatly reduced top speed, and likely over 3500 rpm on the highway going a modest 70 mph. Not to mention the substancial hit to mpg.

    If you want a fast truck for the pad, I'd get a silverdo and then build it for 600whp+

    1. 20” wheels -100 offset with a 6” lift would be your best bet, and a slip tank and welder in the box is also a good add on out there too

    Thanks for the info gentlemen I've been obsessed with these threads lately. Looks like I'll have to wait for a supercharger/turbocharger To get the get up and go I'm looking for . I'm probably going to get that ovtune and just make her look good and protect her with a bumper with a decent brush guard for the Deer around here. If yall have any other "protection" tips for me that would be great Like where to Rhino liner or places to protect in order to avoid commonly damaged areas.
