Wife texted me at work today. She told me that $2.00 lottery ticket was a big winner. Then I remembered what day it was. Back to work.

 

So far no leaks but this seal sure looks funny like it’s been weeping into the wax.

 

replaced a few of those in my time.

 

I think this one is 10 years. We had Tile installed at that time.

 

Last time I had our hopper off, I replaced the seal with one of them fangled foam versions. I've had a wax one leak. Operator error or poor product???

 

This one was double thickness as I have tile but I didn’t feel much resistance when I set the unit down but then it had the tank on it too.not easy trying to line it up, plus the studs, and not balanced to well.. lol
