Hello everyone. Just bought my 2019 TRD Pro black on black minus the desert intake which was impossible to find. Extremely happy and excited with the truck.

Never ever owned a truck before so realized I will need a bed cover. Wont be delivering expensive goods but still need it for day to day errands etc.

Being completely new to the truck world wondering if people can recommend a great bed cover. Since this is my baby want to make sure the cover doesnt make the truck look bad. Looking for something that blends into the truck but obviously dont want to spend thousands.

    please let me know.

    thanks.

    Hey welcome to the forum.

What’s your budget? are you wanting a flat cover or are you open to like a softopper?

So i went to a store near my place. They gave me two options .. 1 . TRUXEDO TRUXPORT soft cover roll up ($285 + $45 installation) and 2. Extang Solid Fold 2.0 Hard Folding ($850 + $45 installation). Said #1 worked pretty well and more secured (as in wont fly off) to the truck and didnt need any drilling etc.

Not sure how i feel about a Vinyl cover on my bed.

The G4 elite fold-a-cover seems to be for a 6 ft bed so wont fit and the diamond back looks too hardcore.

I would go with GatorTrax, that's what I have. It's expensive but really nice. Pretty much flush with the top of the bed and rolls back into it's cover. Would look good on your truck too.

It's available for the short and long bed. Mine has been great, it's very solid and well built.

No recall. But they sent additional pieces to prevent the front panel from flying off if anyone was dumb enough to start driving with it open

Welcome to TW I would go with the WeatherTech aluminum tri-cover. I love mine and it does not leak like others.

It depends on your flavor, needs, and budget as to what bed cover you buy. I like the flush or recessed look so I got a Bakflip G2.

Ya I guess my initial message should have been worded differently. I'm not arguing there was a recall it just doesn't seem like the proper term though since there's nothing wrong with the product, just the people using it. Almost seems like the people who left them open were just looking for a lawsuit. Regardless, good on their part to get ahead send us the tethers although I will never be installing them haha

THis definitely looks really nice. Sits low and seems to blend in. Was it an easy install?
