Clean First Gens

@Box Rocket ‘s truck was what made me want to get a Toyota truck.

 

Just curious-any idea how much HP? I always wondered what the resultant HP/Tq is on a 4 with SC.

 

30% on 150hp if I'm not mistaken.

Edit: depending the 7th injector and fuel rail mods, pulley, etc.

 

So it gives about what a stock 3.4 gives then.

 

Ahhh that bloated feeling. That's just gas.... Get it, Just gas? Cuz it's a truck! I know, I know, keep my day job! Tough room....

 

I'm not exactly sure of the specs of the 3.4 but I think it's about that or just shy.

 

Never had it on a dyno but I believe 220 plus fwhp , I'm also running a Doug Thorley Tri y Shorty header with merge collectors so That's allowing more low end torque plus about 15-20hp

I can easily climb the 4k ft Cajon pass at 70mph !! , I've even kept up with a 3rd gen on that pass

 

190hp/220tq on the 3.4. But it sounds like U.S.Marine has a bit more under that hood.

 

That's also only on a 5lbs tune !!!

 

I like the shorty antenna. Do they work well? Where did you get it?

True. I was curious because I see some of these are from the salt belt. My buddy had a 98 and it was bought back back in 08 for the frame rot. Pretty sure if I still had my 03 it probably would of qualified for the frame replacement. Just thinking all these can’t be that clean. Did see one from Miami that looked cleaner underneath than my coated 17 lol

 

Wash your vehicle once a week and you’ll be fine.

 

My daily driver is a 99 BMW 528i and is even cleaner.

 

Nooo those car washes are bad for the paint lol unless u dont care then carry on my man lol

Living in Iowa you kind of have to use them in the winter unless you want to drive a rusty pos. Pardon the language.
