Whoa, I'm glad I did the pre-sale on the 44in I'm still waiting for. Picked it up on the last tent sale for $399 and now it's listed for $699.

 

I need to replace the (push style) edger engine soon and found the predator 6.5hp on sale for $99. what do y'all think about the predator?

I put that exact engine on my Troybilt tiller and it’s awesome. It’s not even worth fixing small engines anymore, just buy that one for $100

 

I'm thinking about swinging by after work and buying it. It has good youtube reviews, several go carts/scooters/and such. Where do you buy air filters and such for predators?

 

Yep... I’m pretty bummed I was thinking of picking up the 56” last week. Decided to wait until my next paycheck, now it’s $450 more.
Edit: I did call my local store though and the guy made it sound like it should be going on sale soon...

 

There is a HUGE aftermarket for those lil predator motors... im talking ported big valve heads, cams etc. Super simple motor with darn good reviews. I dont think you will regret getting it.

I have one and can say it's been great.

 

I just replaced a zero turn mower engine with a predator motor. The quality exceeded the original. The engine seems to run excellent. If I only get half the number of hours out of it, I'm still money ahead.

If I need a motor and HF has it, I buy it.

 

Wife's buying the Titanium 140 for me, also the 20% off coupon doesn't specify Titanium in the exclusions list this time around!

Also bought a leaf blower and a vibratory tumbler. Will let you know if they hold up.

I'm surprised that you can use that for the Titanium welders. I wonder if they forgot to include it.

 

It says welders in there. I missed it the first time I read through because I was looking for Titanium. Just means you can use it on Titanium accessories.

Looks like prices on the website dropped back down for the General Series 2 toolboxes. I wonder if it was a mistake or if it was test to see what kind of response they got and how much of a price increase would be tolerable.
