    Maybe....

    Part of the exit process for my job that I'm leaving is a physical. I'm in the cancer monitoring program because I have the chance to be exposed to ionizing radiation from some of our equipment. On Monday last week, the base doctor found that one of my testicles is 2-3x bigger than the other one, so I went and got an ultrasound, on Thursday, that confirmed there is a mass. I went to the urologist yesterday.

    He said the mass is a tumor and whether or not it's cancerous, the best/safest course of action is to remove the testicle with the tumor. Today or tomorrow, I should be getting a call to schedule the surgery. It's outpatient surgery from what the urologist told me.

    Damn, I had a friend go through the this procedure a few years back (due to a cancerous growth). He recovered fine and has been good since then.
