Love this look. Just not sure about if I would like the bezel color matched or black. If only there was a way to hide the TSS sensor cover better. That is the only trouble I am having when looking for a aftermarket grille.

 

Well, I took a leap of faith and did it. I drilled the three holes to mount the "Raptor LED lights" in my Custom Car Grill. I started the hole using a Dremel tool with a small grinder bit. This so that when I switched to a drill the bit wouldn't wander. And, of course, I didn't have the exact right size drill bit - the hole needed to be a little bit bigger than 1/4". So, after using the drill (in the hole started by the grinder bit) to create a nice round hole, I then used the same grinder bit that I used to start the hole to get it to the correct size.

But, the end result looks awesome (imho)!

Just got mine in today couldn’t wait to install it so I stayed up late and knocked it out. It looks awesome!! Pics tomorrow or later this week when the weather doesn’t suck.

Also PSA don’t be an idiot like me and whine to Matt that you didn’t get a TSS bracket when you did and you failed the read the big yellow flyer with the grill that says it’s taped in the box. Awesome product even better customer service.

This right here would be awesome with my color options. In a TSS grille though because mines a ‘19

Cement bezel, all cement letters, flat black mesh, cement TRD logo outlined in black lined up with the right side of the A with one or two spaces in between.

Would you be able to do a mock-up of that? If so could I also see a mock up of one with a cav blue TRD logo also?

 

I don't think I have the perfect picture but here's what I came up with real quick

The top one is individual letters, like what we offer for the 2016-17's (but can do for 2018-19's), flat black mesh, cement TRD, but a black bezel.

The bottom is a letter plate, like what we typically offer on our site for 2018-19's, gloss mesh, cement TRD, and a cement bezel.

I've only got a little bit of color reference for Cavalry Blue, I can mock that up tomorrow if still interested.

I definitely like the cement bezel as well as the individual letters. Not sure which mesh I prefer, probably matte since it would match other parts of my truck and I know I don't like the gloss on the stock grille.

The only other thing was whether or not the TRD emblem could actually be moved right below the A and the right edge of the D lines up with the right edge of the A. Don't know if that would be possible but I think it would look really awesome if it looked like one big Toyota emblem with the TRD attached on the bottom right.

Don't worry about the cav blue for the moment. All cement is looking really good

Yes that was exactly what I wanted! The only thing I’d want to change is the black bezel to cement.

And would you mind doing a mock up of the TRD in cav blue if it’s not too difficult? Then I’ll decide which one I’ll pull the trigger on

I don't have a good way to change the bezel color in these mockups. One of the previous pics shows how the color matched bezel looks but that's about the best I can show.

Below is an example with a Cavalry Blue TRD.

I'd love to do something similar to grill om 1517 but I'm afraid the TSS won't work due to my bull bar. Thoughts?
