I may be a bit wild but I wonder if a tundra ecu would work in our tacomas :alien:
I know it would have to be repinned and probably still wouldnt be plug and play but think about the possibilities... i am pretty sure some of them had flex fuel from the factory but I may be wrong. And two extra injectors I know for fact.

I would have to double check, but I believe the Tundra ECU uses the same pin as the 2012-15 4.0L Tacoma. I think we're still quite a ways off from being able to get a setup like that in our truck. But it's certainly food for thought. I think it's possible with a little development of our own native ECU, we might be able to get flex-fuel capability. But that too might be a little ways down the road. For now, straight E85 conversions are what we're stuck with.

With how little I drive my truck I wouldn’t mind converting it to E85. What worries me is I only know of like two pumps that sell it out here, and I hardly see anyone use it. So basically it’s hard to trust what is sitting in that tank for who knows how long.

I am fully aware of this approach and thank you for writing this up. I would just hate to have that sensor I worked so hard to get installed just sitting there doing nothing.;)
I am tempted to give this a try just so I dont have to have any additional wiring and jumper harness in the vehicle. I would also get cruise control and traction control back but I dont use either, so the only real reason would be to get rid of that VSC light and have 100% OEM functionality back.

This is great news for the 5-15 community for sure! It looks like they have Toyota figured out so if you have something you want supported I suggest posting the request on the forums and get it some attention.

    VERY IMPORTANT!

These parameters are for a 39.15 psi. Our trucks are 43 stock so you would need to do a little math using the FNPW_OFFCOMP to get the correct parameters for the given fuel pressure.

Do you have to purchase credits to read a different ECU or is it only when writing to one?

I think I read in here you can read any amount you want. Credits are only required when modifying or writing.

I believe part of the "beta" is that they are adding so many new vehicles to the hardware that the software may suffer bugs a s a result.

You can read any/all supported vehicles and save those files without using any credits.

The credits actually stay with the MPVI2 device. You use the credits to buy the licensing to modify and write to a specific ECU. So you can use any laptop/computer to tune with.

I picked up the Pro version. I wanted to be able to log the 5v analog signals from external sources.

This makes me consider if it can disable the annoying driving nannies especially on my 4runner. Its gets annoying on track when I wanna floor it outta the corner but the safety cheap limits the tb in relation to steering angle.
