    Hey fellas,
Couple years ago b4 I knew anything about a lift. I had a 3 inch body lift installed. I been wanting to get a offroad bumper and some sliders. So I wanna get the body lift off of my truck. When the shop put on the body lift they never asked if I wanted my old parts. Do you guys know which parts I would need to get? I know I need the stock mounts and bolts. Any help to get this body lift off my truck will help guys! thanks again if anyone can help me out. Oh and if anyone knows what part number or what its called would greatly appreciated! This is how it sits now. [IMG]

You will need the stock bolts, and then take off all the extensions. Hey put an add on craigslist that they can have the body lift for free or cheap if you get their stock parts, then just swap the lift over...

Ill go ahead and try to post it on craigslist and see if anyone wants a free body lift for their stock parts. Thanks for one plan haha if anyone else knows what part numbers or any help would still be great.

Take out one of your bolts and carry it to the hardware store, find one with the same threads but 3'' shorter. Ive done this before to a silverado and thats what we had to do, I know the bed bolts were different than the cab. We got the bolts, took off shift linkage extensions, took off radiator brackets, took off fuel fill tube extension, took off bumper brackets, and steering extension. Make sure you get high quality bolts!!!

Damn that sounds good man thanks for all your help. Gotta go to toyota to order the stock body mounts also. I might try to find a wrecked taco at the junkyard. If last comes to last I'm just gonna have the shop that installed it take it off for me for 500 bucks.

It might be easier for you to get custom bumpers and sliders made. I plan on getting a BL in the future and making custom bumpers. Is there any other reason you want to remove the body lift?
