And what temperature do you think it is? I wonder if I could print a "close enough" model you could form it around, if you don't have a better technique?

 

I’ve got one at the house. Haven’t had a real reason to use it yet but it’s a nice tool to have. The magnets are super strong.

 

I have some scrap 2x8s and some 1" kneeling foam on each and in use cabinet clamps to hold it on place

 

Good to know that they are strong. I just bought one to center a mounting plate on my bed bars for an outboard bike mount that could double for mounting other things when the bikes are not on there.

 

That’ll be nice. Should be the perfect tool for the job.

 

Thanks for the offer. I’m going to use a fork mount and make my own tire tray with a tie down.

 

I was going to go the hitch route, but since I’d have to have it stick way off the back after I build a swing out. this seemed like the next best option.

 

Speaking of swingouts, I’m building one for my bumper when I have the time after the 63 swap. I got a rough design if you want to see it at some point.
