Does anyone make a camera relocation mount?

Having a difficult time finding a camera relocation mount/bracket. Anyone know of anything? The SSO mount is specifically for 4runner’s and GX’s, and they told me it will not work with a Tacoma. If someone knows otherwise please let me know and I’ll buy it. RSG metalworks also makes a relocation but it’s $329 which seems crazy! All I need is some kind of mount that I can attach somewhere on my swingout or the center of the tire carrier like SSO bracket. Thanks for any help!

 

I have one of these. Im sure you could make it work. mounts behind the license plate. excellent video quality.

I’ve seen those, just not sure it would work. I have SOS’s high clearance rear bumper and it has a flip up license plate, not sure if it would hit when flipped up. Thanks though!

 

I also have a flip plate and it still works just fine. i had to use a dremal and cut a little bit out of the license plate flipper thing to fit in the camera.

We supply them with our swing outs.

 

Seen this, the problem is I can’t fab that bracket they made.

 

I already have a bumper with a swingout, doesn’t seem like a cost effective option to replace the entire bumper just to get a camera mount. Haha

@ OP, they have two different ones, depending on your camera. I’d suggest reaching out and buying one from them. Simple to use and fast to ship.

 

Does this plug directly into the factory cameras harness? Not sure when they started adding backup cameras.

 

It’s not part of the bumper, just a stand alone bracket.

Joe just solved my problem. I was planning on their swing out bumper!

 

I dont know how a factory camera is setup. Mine is set up and works well with my pioneer touch screen headunit.

Looks like this includes camera and everything. It doesn't look pretty, but it's all I can find so far.

 

Saw that too. Agreed, definitely not the best looking thing. Really just want a bracket/mount, no need to replace the camera.

 

Well crap. Maybe give Mobtown a ring and see if they'll sell you just the bracket. They're good people.
