I’d have bought Fox if they would of been in stock, but I’m not disappointed with Icons.

agree, that's what's kept me from buying anything that's rebuildable. Yeah I know you can rebuild them at home with the proper tools and stuff but, I could just take apart my coilovers and throw a new bilstein shock absorber in when these start to get tired. My billie coilovers are adjustable so best of both worlds, ride height is adjustable but the shocks are low maintenance and replaceable.

Always hated the mall crawling bullshit that TacomaBeast posts. This is just more fuel for that fire.

Also, somehow I ended up on their website helping someone about a question in the first gen forum and came across this. $73 for "shifters" that are literally lock-on mountain bike grips I can get on ebay for $8. Wtf.

They even have "lizard skins" on their "shifter". That's literally a mountain bike accessories company.

I also have icon’s. Got a killer fucking deal on them. Otherwise I’d have fox’s. They ride pretty great though. No complaints from me

No. Don't think i have enough weight for 886's, and i think having the length of those would keep me from having to use top plate spacers and still net me the lift i want/need after settling.

What’s up guys. I’m looking to take my kids over to LBL for some camping later on this year. Are the trails there ok for a stock Tacoma?

There are plenty of trails (roads technically) you can do in a stock truck.

Just be sure to have a map and understand the trail rating system and not get in over your head. There is a difference between the boxed (I think they're boxed, & not bolded) trail numbers and the non-boxed trail numbers. One being a gravel road and the other being unmaintained trails you see in most of our pictures.

There are big mud holes and deep ruts on most 200 and 300 level roads but plenty to see and explore safely.

Yes. Except a few. You gotta be the judge of what you're willing to try.

I was just there this weekend and turned around on a few trails when they came to a spot i wasn't willing to attempt with them in the truck and no one else there to help if we got stuck.

You need the park map. GPS sometimes uses road names where the signs only have numbers.

My kids pointed out something at Neville Bay that couldn't not see it afterwards.

There is a scraggly tree near the water at the picnic tables.

If you are down below the bathroom and look at the tree's silhouette against the sky after the sun is down, "it looks like a t-rex with a beard wearing a big puffy princess dress".

Effect doesn't work in daytime somehow.

Bilstein 7100s for the win, that way you can look like a wanna be race truck having douchebag like Gideon with all the zero maintenance of a 5100.
