If any of you want me to edit my first post with a ride you'd like to plan, just let me know or shoot me a PM. That way everyone can see it without searching all the pages for an upcoming ride.

No problem at all. That's what this thread is all about. :D Trying to get together is half the battle. Haha.

I can't say I do it often, but I would and have ridden on the road with my mountain bike. The last time I went on a serious road ride was about 5 years ago. My friend Joseph and I biked from the golf course in Temecula (on the border of San Diego) to the Taco Bell on Mission George Road next to the stadium. That was a great ride. I'd be down to ride some time as well.

Hey Albert, I am up for the Mission Trails run. I normally start out of Father Juniper so it would be cool to see more of the park. Should be blazin. Cant start any earlier?
Not sure about Noble Canyon. Thats a little too far out for me to schedule.

I'm hoping to do it in Sept. I usually skip that one and do the one in April, but that one was cancelled this year. Last year I did the 8 hour 2 person team only to feel like Sh*t the whole night. I still think I had the swine flu but never made it in. Looking to join a team?

Sure of course this will be my first 24 hr race so I dont want to slow the team by taking long time laps. I was hoping for 4 laps during the 4 hr solo. My training is lacking right now.

My fastest lap time was the same the last two years at 1 hour 6 min. I was sick last year so I assume I should be better this time around. On that note, the professionals are pulling lap times of 45-46 min lap after lap after lap.

It's all good. I hurt my knee yesterday and wanted to call it off, but I didn't want to let you down. Haha. Either way, I'm glad to relax tomorrow. Soon though.

I'll be at the Otay trails tomorrow morning. Picked up a used GT and I'm going with a couple of buddies. This will be my first time out. Hopefully I don't go and hurt myself.

I'm sure you'll do just fine. I think you know Ron also just bought a bike. He is new to the sport (recreational for him though). Give him a ring. Otay lakes has its fun areas. You can also ride Upper Otay and take the trail behind The Woods back to Lower Otay. Food for thought.
