Don't know if it's engraveable (is that a word?). Also, don't know if anyone else even finds that funny...

My local TW (few miles away) doesn't have OBSV Four Roses, however every other freakin TW store in the area does. So I'm going to go at lunch and look to see which is the next closet one. I guess when I bought my house I subconsciously picked the most equidistant spot to the TWs I could!

I have a different bottle style. Looks like this.
Sorry for the double post, I have a bad habit of forgetting to include stuff...

You can look it up by the ABV/Proof. I don't think the old labels had an actual batch designation.

Just saw an old label ECBP go for $300 on secondary. It's the "Hazmat" bottle that is over 140 proof, but still!

Post up a pic of the one you have.

What is OBSV? I've had regular, single barrel, and small batch Four Roses. Love them all.

    its the recipe

    https://fourrosesbourbon.com/our-recipes/

I had an obsv that was one of the worst whiskeys I have ever had in my life.
seems to be a love it or hate it bourbon. I am not a huge fan of rye and four roses has a higher than typical rye content. so makes sense for me.

Huh, thanks. Just lately diving into whiskey, been home brewing for a while and apparently needed another expensive alcohol hobby

I'm with you. You like what you like.

I've had a hell of a time drinking whiskey "neat" out of solo cups .

In order, it is good friends, good music, good whiskey, and then I'll worry about the container ;).

Cool bottle! Any laying around are pretty sought after. Of course, if someone still has one of those unopened, I question why they bought it in the first place

I like it! I'd be down for any or all of the ideas. We'll make sure we aren't stepping on any toes if we get too close to the line ;).

    I like Tacoma Whiskey Society.

Otherwise we just come up with a phrase/saying that melds the Tacoma and whiskey lifestyles. Who knows. Need to just get ideas thrown out there to start from!

Had to get off the work network to see the picture, but that is hilarious.

It could be engraved if converted to vector. Some work has to be done on the shaded/filled in parts to get it to work right for etching, but it could be done!
