Nice maxipads! I have yet to use mine for anything other than leveling out my RTT

    Haha 'maxipads', I like that.

Yeah I haven't pulled the trigger on any for this long because I've never really been in a situation where I'd need them, I rarely wheel in mud but I did find myself in a few snow/ice situations this season where they may have come in handy. But in the sand dunes I can definitely see where I might need them especially since I'm going solo this time.

Plus I usually have to find and stack rocks to level out the RTT when we camp so they'll at least come in handy for that like you said.

These are from a Chinese company called CPOWACE on Amazon for $100, they're pretty much a replica of the X-Bull brand which is about $50 more, maybe even the same thing just sold under a different name. I'll let you know how they hold up after this weekend lol.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

Been looking at those and the Smittybilt boards. Would definitely like to hear your thoughts when you get back.

(No way in shit I'll ever spend 300 bucks on MaxTrax. That's just dumb)

Seen that, still not going to spend 350 on Maxtrax, I don't plan on using these but maybe a few times a year. If these hold up as well as the X Bulls I've seen and used in person then I'll be content.

No, I posted the video to show that the video show it was still versatile, the chinese brand, to maxtrax so your offbrand should still give you similar benefits to maxtrax.

    You're good to go.

Oh Haha sorry, I thought that was a different video I saw that was sponsored by Maxtrax or another name brand and made the others look terrible. I mean the jury is still out on the pair I bought, they might fail miserably but even if they do I'll be sure to let you guys know so you dont get the same ones

    ALL OF THEM!...Then some more.
I'd try not to lube them. Lube attracts dirt which will destroy the Teflon liner.

    Just wash them.

We had the Smitty ones. Not great.

@m3bassman just go to Napa and ask for 2004 tundra calipers 13wl and you'll be good

Damn... had ordered X-Bulls off eBay and a day after placing the order a fellow TW member put up his ARB TREDPros. Picked his up and the X-Bulls are sitting in their box. Could've sent these down to you with sper. Oh well, never hurts to have an extra set I guess.
