In case anyone was planning on boogering up the threads on the rear brake lines that run next to the gas tank....just don't do it! I feel stupid having done it in the first place and now I'm paying the price. Old out, and I'm avoiding putting the new one in because I had to do a lot of bending to get the old one out.

    That is all.

Dang man sorry to hear hope it goes well. Does work cover the loss of a testicle? How is that compensated upon leaving an organization?

    Thanks.

I have no idea. I didn't even consider that. I'm just hoping they'll pickup part of the bill since I'm sure it's going to be hefty, even after insurance.

I went by the base clinic to update the doctor, but they weren't in.

Hopefully all checks out cancer free! There should definitely be compensation from the organization since you are loosing a body part. My sister's father in law lost a few fingers in a processing plant and ended up with a pretty hefty check.

@buyobuyo hopefully all turns out well for you. Hell, Lance Armstrong was still winning with one nut. He was doped to the gills, but still.

Was thinking about you this morning when getting an x-ray and they handed me this thin little washcloth size pad to cover my junk with. Almost asked for another to double up.

Exactly if there is a screening process because of possible exposure and then something found because of said screening I would think they should cover it fully and compensate for body part loss. Definitely check man because that nut could pay for major truck mods so your loss is actually a gain. Either way fuck cancer and you have our support man.

What are you guys using to shine up the tires after a good wash without leaving excess film or a black mess ? I have some good stuff but it leaves a mess that gets residue on my shorts if I lean over the tire when working on engine bay. Already ruined 2 pairs that are now work shorts but just want to get them darker looking when I wash it.

I was going to suggest VRT from Adam's, but you might have the same problems.

aerospace 303 works well. Cleans and darkens them up but doesn't really make them shine, just a hair wet. Looks really nice.

Holy moly! Almost 100k for federal? That's crazy.

    Thanks.

 Was the washcloth size pad heavy? It was probably lead impregnated rubber, so you're good.

    Thanks.

There's a medical monitoring program that I'm enrolled in where they do a basic cancer screening physical every 3 years. My initial screening was when I started 2.5 years ago. As for exposure tracking, that is done through dosimetry the same as what radiologists at a hospital would wear, so any exposure is recorded quarterly. My exposure is typically 0 because of the nature of our equipment and how we setup/run it. I know I do have some non-zero exposures from my previous jobs where I ran the same machines.

Not sure how compensating or proving when/where something like this happened is handled, so I'll have to look into it. I'd assume that the doctor or Radiation Safety Officer would be able to give me more information.

I use that shit for my interior. Been using it for years. Best stuff on the market. But that’s just my opinion.
