I definitely second getting a Habitat!

I said yes to the pole, but only cause I was thinking the AT Habitat fits that category. My wife and I love it.

And it's very easy to open and close.

And there’s nothing “fast” about it. Sleep in the bed with a sleeping bag.

RTT Pros Verses Cons according to science:

    RTT Cons:

    - expensive

    - kills MPGs

    - can’t go on a drive to check something out once you set up camp

    - Must have enough room to set up

    - you gotta camp in the parking lot, when there’s a cool tenting spot down by the lake

    - makes vehicle centre of gravity unsafe

    - have to open it every two weeks to air out and prevent black mould

    - truck is heavier, more likely to get stuck, and less engine power

    - goes moldy

    - you know it’s ending up in the landfill someday. What a fuckin disgrace.

    - when the bear pulls you out to eat your ass, you get knocked unconscious when you hit the ground / can’t fight for your life.

    - when the hillbillies invade, you can’t just leave.

    - doesn’t fit in a parkade

    - ruins your bed storage if you low-Mount to help MPGs and center of gravity.

    - Teddy Roosevelt would think you are a wanker.

    RTT Pros:

    - looks good on Instagram.

    - comes with a patch or sticker.

    Access through tailgate.

Here's a shot with the top closed, and with the ARB awning mounted.

The insidious seed of doubt has been planted. Your RTT will be in the landfill within two years, guaranteed.
