open a toyota owners account, snag the vin and punch it in. toyota knows all about your truck...at least it knows the factory option stuff and any dealer service stuff.

if the frame has a 10mm hole, you get a new frame. in service date is important. i think it caps at 12 years post in service date. non hole frames get a free coating of goop.

You’re good! Only way to know something is to ask! @BigJimmyP answered already. But yes, double cab short bed. You will see DCLB which is just double cab long bed. 5’ vs 6’.

81shark....thanks for suggestion to open a toyota owners account. I can now easily see what options are listed with a specific car. I can copy
and paste VIN number from CarGurus, etc and see exactly what options were factory installed. The Toyota dealers are pretty good about
detailing the options and wether it is a Sport, Pro, Off-road, etc. The non Toyota dealers, not so much.

Can you tell me if the auto garage door feature to push button in truck cab to open home garage door is normally installed on most trucks?
I have used the toyota owners account to check out the specs on 3 cars but I only see one truck with that garage door feature. Sorry I forgot exactly
what the spec sheet called it.

    Thanks!

    Doug

Can anyone tell me if it is pretty standard for the Tacoma to be able to program buttons for garage door openers?
My 2005 Dodge Dakota and 2015 Buick Regal have buttons near the roof liner that can be programmed to use
    as a garage door opener.

    Thank you!

Looking at a 2015 Tacoma 4 WD with SR package and towing package, trailer sway control, and supplemental oil cooler.
How does this package differ from a Pro or Sport?
What additional do I get with a Pro or Sport?

    Thanks, still learning.

Anyone have thoughts on the V6 that are less than 4.0 liter as to power and response when quick acceleration is needed?

I had to add one to my SR5. If you want a programmable garage door opener, you can add one pretty easy. There's a vender on here by the name of Bob's mirrors. He'll get you fixed up.

Here is what I bought, 2014 4WD Sport. Double cab, long bed, towing package, running board, oil cooler, automatic. Bed has the Tacoma mat and sliders with hooks in corners.

I am really enjoying this truck beyond measure.
