You may be missing his point. Manufacturers' primary concern is surviving the warranty period with few (or no) issues. Beyond that, all repairs are on the customer's dime. For most vehicles, this could be achieved without EVER changing the oil filter. But most people would like their vehicles to continue running strong well beyond the warranty, and extra oil change(s) early in the engine's life is actually a good idea. Who knows, these people may never see the benefit of this early service. Preposterous!
Also, if your goal is simply not blowing up your engine, well... I think you can do better, Sport.

Ok bubba you have taught me a lesson. Auto Manufacturers dont care about longevity of their products past the warranty period. Thank you for this nugget of information Sherlock. Lmao

So if your primary concern is getting enough food for today, that means you don't care at all about eating tomorrow. That is the same argument you are using.
Where did I say they don't care about the longevity of their products? Just because their PRIMARY concern is surviving the warranty does not mean they don't care at all about longevity. It's not a black and white world, there's a whole spectrum in between. And speaking of lessons, stop being a keyboard expert. Your attitude is horrible and you will learn one lesson quickly by talking that way in person, Sherlock.
