Tacoma posts its best 1st quarter ever

Thought this was interesting. Toyota is reporting that the Tacoma just had it's best 1st quarter ever. So much for the Ranger sinking the ship.

I have been looking all day to try to find any numbers on that stupid Ranger.

OP, this is good news as overall industry numbers are low, again. First quarter auto sales are soft in the US.

 

Yeah, it will drive more people into Tacoma’s!

I keep looking for Rangers around here out of curiosity. It’s a small area but we have plenty of dealerships. Haven’t seen a single one.

 

I live in a large city and have still yet to see a single one on the road. And the dealerships have plenty, so that isn't the reason.

 

The only one I’ve seen was on base and was a standard white government vehicle.

 

Not if the stats on pricing I've seen so far are accurate. I'm repeating myself, but I think the Gladiator would seriously cut into Tacoma sales if Jeep doesn't shoot themselves in the ass and price themselves out of competition.

lol I mean seriously, it's odd that I haven't seen a single one. When the 3rd gen Taco came out, I was seeing them on the road almost right away. The new Rav4 is out, I'm seeing that all over. The new Ranger... nothing.

 

I live in a large metro area and have seen two different Rangers, but that's it.

 

Probably turn out like Chevy Colorado, post results only every quarter to avoid embarrassment only 4 time a year instead of 12.
