"terrible winter weather" is pronounced: lack of pre-orders.

Both the Colorado and Ranger were made to Combat the Hilux. Because of that, they all have the same weird rear end setup with super a high truck bed.[IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

The only reason I would ever want a Ranger is if they included this video in their advertisements

Ford screwed up, they should of made the Ranger a small truck with an appropriate lower price point compared to todays midsize trucks, they would of had there own class of truck(small body on frame) and would of been far enough away from the F150 price wise so when you walk on a Ford lot your not seeing the top selling F150 priced similar to the midsize Ranger...that’s what’s really going to hurt the Ranger, peeps will just go F150

What they should have done was make it look like a small F150.

I think we’re fairing out pretty good over here in NA with the Tacos, not a really big fan of the Hilux. Looks no different than the Rangers or GM/Chev and the 2020 Frontier. Just my opinion !

Goddam......could Toyota have crammed any more design elements into that Hilux front end? It’s like a committee of 25 people each got to design their own little part.

You can build them on the Jeep website people are gonna have some serious sticker shock.

I built up a Sport S not even a loaded model, just with automatic transmission, touch screen audio, and bedliner and MSRP is $42,525!!!

That doesn't even have a locking diff, nor navigation that are both standard on a TRD OR.

If you get a hard top and some accessories a SPORT S quickly gets over $45k!

The Sport S is comparable to an SR5 btw...

Add in how buttass ugly it is, it's going to be interesting to see how well it sells.

What Ford should have done is offer to build Tacomas for Toyota under contract.

The other thing these stats prove to me, is although the 2nd Gen tacos were respectable trucks, the public at large could really care less about those old rigs with their 4.0’s. It was the 3G Taco that lit the fire in people’s imagination, which is why they can’t make enough of them to meet demand.

The Tacoma and to a greater Extent the F150 are basically advertisements for themselves.

They both look great on on the road. People see these vehicles, and think to themselves, "I want one of those". It's the styling basically.
