We got them pulled and Jeff rebuilt my CV’s while laughing at us crawling around under the truck. He helped on getting the front diff out also along with lifting the rear diff out. John was awesome moving back and forth between the various on goings. Scott got a hand dirty holding the spindle to the side while we pulled a CV.

Went fairly smooth. Put them in regular buckets with card board taped over the tops. Got them dropped off at the fedex store at 5 this afternoon. The drop-off points wouldn’t take them because they were so heavy.

@JBTacoma how long did it take you to rebuild a CV? I’ve got the parts to rebuild my OEM I’ve just never rebuilt one on a truck or 4 wheeler. Always just replaced.

Depends on how many times you stop to talk.
Maybe 20 to 30 minutes each if you don't stop to talk.
It's a pretty simple job, if you get the rebuild kits from Toyota, they have every thing you need in it.

My birmingham dudes, I was off roading on a trail off Ross Bridge Pkwy by Shades Crest Creek. I didn’t have much time to explore, but is anyone familiar with that trail?

It’s the trail on the left side of the road. It branches off and more or less follows the road toward Ross Bridge for a while.

It connects into the culvert trail somehow I’m pretty sure. I have walked it a few times when I got off the walking trail there

Is the culvert trail the walking trail back there? Does it end up by the train tracks?

Already done. Told my boss we hit the lottery for 400K and was dropping my retirement papers. Bill's pretty smart and was non-committal but one of my co-workers was congratulating me.
