    I had posted these a little while ago, I thought they would make a pretty interesting sub for the tacoma. I may still make a box for them and see how they sound. Each has the same cone area as a 8 inch sub, they dont vibrate because of the push pull design of the small cones. Alpine used the bigger ones in some of their older powered sub boxes.

    I removed all the seat parts as well as the sheet metal “box” that forms the base of the seat. Think I also cut the tabs off that the jack mounted to.
    The sides are mdf cut to fit the contour of the floor, bottom is a gazillion layers of glass, and the amps are recessed into the top and capped with steel mesh to allow some airflow. I squeazed in every inch of airspace I could to keep the enclosure as small as possible while maintaining proper volume. Unfortunately it doesn’t fit my ‘15
