That came out really nice. What type of paint did you use?
I’ve been thinking of doing mine, but it might be too much on the black truck. Ever seen the tss rims painted black? I can’t seem to find a picture...much less black on black.

Fresh rubber today. Falken Wildpeak AT3 265/75r16. Kinda boring coming from my previous 2nd gen with 255 S/T Maxx's on FJ steels. But funds are tighter and I haven't decided how big I want to go yet with lift and wheel/tires, so I'll rock this till I make up my mind.

I installed my new tires. 285/75-16 Duratracs. My worn out set was 6 years old and had 67,000 miles on them. Stretched them probably too far, but I never had any issues with them. New tires balanced out perfect. You don’t realize how loud your tires get until you install new ones. You also don’t fully realize how worn out your tires are until they’re side by side with new ones. Haha

I like them alot! Definitely a better look than stock and they're more flexible so they're not gonna rip off unless maybe you get em pinched. The only problem I have had with them is some rubbing on the driver front tire but I'm just going to heat it up and bend it back a bit. We'll see if that does it.

What psi do you run your duratracs at? 67000 miles is pretty good I won’t get that on my current set, same tire/size.

38-40 psi is what I run and seems to work best for me. I rebalance and rotate like crazy.

Have you watched the video on driveline specs and how to measure them? It should help with diagnosing what and where you need to shim.

Put the 3rd gen take offs on. Wheels look good but the tires are so much smaller. I was pleasantly surprised driving it though. So much quieter, smoother and lighter feeling than my 265/75 authority tires on my other set. IMG_20190402_184354.jpg
