Should be that easy, especially since the HPFP is a specifically mentioned and covered part. I had to argue with BMW one time about it, but it was pretty clear when I highlighted the sections for them in the warranty booklet provided with the vehicle. Usually they'll start with "well, that's for CA". Then I show them the section that says the CA warranty covers WA too, since WA has adopted all CA emissions laws (which is total bullshit, talk about no representation in government).

I’m already considering the RR10 builders kit, this could be bad...

ETA: what’s the Jeep built off of?

Do it. It’s a lot of fun. This is an entry level model called the deadbolt, it’s actually impressive what it’ll do

Has to be less expensive than planes. My dad was into RC plane(he crashed 60% of the time, 100% of the time) he amassed a lot of spare parts as a result.

The planes are super fun though. Also get you kicked out of parks.

Jeep chassis is a honcho kit but it doesn’t really matter, if you change out the links it can become the same wheelbase as any of the other SCX10 kits.

The Jeep body was in real rough shape so I cut the bed off and made a low quality flatbed from junk I had laying around with pans of building a better one “one day” out of brake line.

I bought the deadbolt later on to have a fresh start on a build and was going to put scale sized one ton axles on the Jeep but then I just got busy with work and other stuff (taco stuff)
The Jeep slowly turned into a parts car whenever something broke and I just never went to the store to replace parts so it’s kind of a mess right now

I bought them six months ago, but finally had time to get my bright things mounted on the truck the other day.

They're not very big, but these little bastards are bright! (80 watts each, supposedly)

Anyone have recommendations for a budget flush mount back lights? I'm not trying to drop 400 on some rigid d2s on something i'd use like 4x a year but don't want something that's utter garbage too. I've read mixed reviews with cheap chinese lights, that all you need is to seal them up yourself, but some people report some LEDs dimming or dying out early.

I have a big box of parts. Lots of brushless motors, servo's, motors, props, receivers, special tools, etc. I need to sell it all. I sold my LiPo batteries years ago but I think I have a couple chargers. Oh I have several balsa wood kits if anyone is interested. Park flyer sized planes. I think there is a Mustang with retractable landing gear. A WWI Bi-plane. I forget what else.

Everyone said don't start with a warplane you'll just crash it. My first build was a Hellcat. and I crashed it. Then I got a couple of EPP foam planes and learned to fly with those. Break them in half and epoxy it back together and you're in the air again in 10 minutes.

You can replace these like 10 times for the cost of one set of Rigids. I've had mine for years and they still work great.

Also, for what its worth, I have owned bars and pods of various cheapness below the rigid price point and every single one has gotten condensation in it.
