Thanks for getting back to me, I was freaking out after we installed it and could barely move the collar, I was reading there is a another expensive tool that you could buy. Mine did come with that pin. I was able to get it after all, lubricant makes a world of difference!

I spy something white that has four doors.

I spot this truck around (or at least something very similar) every couple years. Anyone else seen it around or know who’s it is? I’d love to see it close up.

After the lift....I'm guessing I need to do the bushing. Hoping to find the tool in town.

Make sure the symptoms fit a bad needle bearing. Does it happen between 35 & 45 MPH, and does it go away if you put it in 4WD? If so, it's probably the needle bearing. If it doesn't behave that way it could be something else.

Being you have an 18 chances are it's the needle bearing. Since it's still under warranty dealer might do it for you as it's a known problem. I had them do my 15 when the truck was a little over a year old and it hasn't come back as of yet.

Just galvanized primer and krylon or some fancier rattle can paint.
Most likely just hanging on to them, Maybe run a set of strictly off road tires. they need to be refinished they have quite a few chips in them.

Thanks @syswalla ya it only happens when I'm going slow and braking. I don't think the rotors are warped or anything, didn't notice anything before the lift, and don't feel anything on the freeway now. I did the carrier bearing spacer too. I haven't got an alignment yet, I was going to see how it feels after. I bought the extra toyota care not sure what it all covers but I will ask them tomorrow, since my lift is less then 3" it should still be covered right??

Looks like a technical; just needs a machine gun or something bigger in the bed. :infantry:

@Jaime.portillo a couple weeks ago I was down in your part of the state and I couldn’t believe how many really nice Tacomas and 4Runners there were on the highway between Roswell and Carlsbad
