Do you have a USB dongle that came with the kit? If not, you are dongless
Did you purchase the kit after Mid-2018? if you did, you are dongless.

 

I guess I am dongless, because I'd bought it this year last month. The kit just arrived today.

 

Without a doubt. Follow the dongless instructions and you'll be good to go.

I ordered the full kit too. and am not super good on computer stuff but as long as you watch the video and read the instructions twice.. its not hard to figure out I just took it one step at a time. and be sure your anti virus is off. once I figured out how to turn that off it was easy. I recommend getting it.

 

That is one of the places I’ll be riding by this month. Making me more excited for this months adventure!!!

 

I made a bit of progress tonight on getting my setup to work. Thanks for the tips from other Bootcamp on Mac users: @rdpoe @Shellshock @SpeySquatch

I had to do Run as Administrator when opening the OVTune flash manager. Now I can fully connect the OBD. Using Datalogger, when I hit Connect, the red and yellow LEDs on the Tactrix do a rapid blink.

Something still seems to be wrong with my registration and I am working with @OVTune to fix this. I am hoping the conversion from no dongle to dongle does the trick. The dongle I just received is not recognized when I try to run PCMFlash.

 

What? Bitching about every possible thing even shit that doesn't matter or pertain to the tune!
Feels like an Allstate commercial! Mayhem, Mat should see if he can get some insurance for the crazy whining Taco owners on this forum.

I'm using bootcamp to run my OVTune and not a single problem. What are you talking about?

 

Did you see if your ECU ID changed after they did the recall?

 

Just received my install kit that I bought from somebody and I feel like I’m missing something?
