I have these... they’re not as easy to slide around but they are far more versatile than the OEMs
One of the things that they are better at is accepting smaller hooks as you can see in the first and last pictures.
You can also une them to attach cross rails and other things uninformed the holes on the sides and bottom.

The term midsize implies there is something larger and something smaller.

    Larger is easy to find.

Where is the smaller? (in the new market in the US)

Not picking on you, just can't figure out why the term is used.

Have you guys seen what Gladiator prices are like? They start at $37,000 for a base Sport with a soft top and stick shift —which is not that great. By the time you add the excellent 8-speed automatic ($2,000) and a hardtop ($2,000), you are already at $41,000.

The MSRP on my 2019 TRD Off-Road was $41,170. For that price, in addition to automatic transmission, it has a rear locker, Bilstein shocks, alloy wheels, all-terrain tires with Kevlar reinforcement, premium sound, leather seats, navigation, blind spot monitor, cross-path detection, wireless charging, power rear slider, etc., etc., etc. None of which Gladiator offers at that price.

The reason Tacoma outsells all other midisize pickups is because it provides incredible value. Tacoma also straddles the work truck and lifestyle truck segments better than most, broadening its appeal. When you add Tacoma’s top resale, it’s just hard to beat.

A lot of people have been waiting a long time for a Jeep pickup, so Gladiator will sell well for the first year or two. But by year 3 sales will taper off. As others have already stated, Gladiator appeals primarily to Jeep loyals and because of it it’s likely to cannibalize Wrangler sales: it focuses too much on off-road capability to be mainstream enough, non-loyals remain suspect of Jeep’s long-term reliability, and Gladiator’s premium price positioning is clearly not for everyone.

Jeep’s Achilles heel is in its Price/Quality equation. As those prices keep going higher without addressing the underlying quality problems, the more fragile Jeep’s value and market positioning become.

    Sorry for the hijack...
