No, I appreciate the candid opinions. I respect them. It definitely doesn't sound like my kind of place.

My problem is, I don't have a benchmark other than what I've seen on here.

I am equipping my truck with, in my opinion, some of the best products I can afford to make it capable of providing me with the opportunity to participate in activities with people I find very interesting.

I began off roading back in the 70s by riding dirt bikes. From there I moved up to a 1980 Bronco. It was equipped but nothing like I'm into now.

Oh, if anything Rob's equipped for anything. I have two Jerry cans. I will take them if I have to. I'd just rather not.

I use to have a 78 on 40's. It was a fun truck but it was too big for the trails. I sold it then bought my lifted 85 yota, that little truck would go anywhere.

Mine was black, it had a built 400M. 10" suspension lift. Alcoa wheels. Had a softtopper, it was a fun rig. At redlights people would ask how do I get in it lol. I have a pic of it somewhere.

dude, used diesel ambulances are the best tow rigs. compartments for days, and usually maintained to a decent standard if you get one that was owned by a government entity. just gotta bleach the shit out of the back when you first get it.

IDK man, I think most people on here will either do the work themselves or have a friend help. EDIT: Like I said, you might want to look into Wits End Fabrication in Hanover. They can install it for you.

If you are not swapping UCAs the front can be done in a few hours - it's pretty basic stuff. Especially if the shocks & springs are pre-assembled.
The rear could be 1 - 4 hours depending on how you are lifting it.
Afterwards you'll need to take it in for an alignment and you'll be good to go.
