    For the 2nd samurai build?

Those axles are beefy. Put the D44s in a rubicon to shame

Yes the other Samurai, can't believe I found them this cheap. I'm getting two 3 speed manual transmissions and transfer cases front and rear axles ,two bell housings and a spare tire carrier.

At the end of the day I probably make more anyway since I’ve got no overhead costs like the professional. It’s a win-win.

Yes, just have to be patient and that is hard for me.
When I been looking for and find exactly what I want and say maybe if I wait I can get them cheaper.
Then I think what if I can't? :annoyed:

The labor costs of me and some buddies able to weld and install my 63 swap and 14" kings is well worth the cost of welding equipment. Also the ability of me being able to make my own frame plates and boxing my own frame and making a crossmember was cheaper than buying pre-made frame plates and having someone weld them in. At first you'll loose money but once you start getting into and the savings pays for the equipment then you are just at the cost of your time and materials. You can also make a few bucks to pay for your projects doing some stuff for others. Plus the enjoyment of doing something yourself and actually "building" your stuff there is no price for that.

If I would of had the time tooling and materials I would of made all the parts I bought for the 63 swap but time was the most limiting factor.

Driving distance would be to Grant, AL. You're where? Does your brother do this for a living or part time? I need one for a month also but not right now.

I think he'd be out on that one coming from Clanton, AL.

He doesn't do it full time or part time, he bought it at a good deal for around the house use. The only work he does not for himself is a few local farmers wanting to dig up peach trees lol.

No training and I had no issues doing my Total Chaos cam tabs (borrowed a friends welder). Maybe @Jerneyman and others can chime in here about this issue. I had my sliders installed several years ago and at the time there was no one in Huntsville willing to weld them on my Tacoma (called 3 or 4 places). Their concern was frying the ECU or other computer related parts. Most places did not want to do it even with the batteries disconnected. I assume disconnecting batteries is essential when you are actually welding on the truck????

Assume he has a trailer for it. How much did he pay if you don't mind my asking. I want to do some major work on my Grant land eventually (want to build a barndominium/shop) and would consider buying one myself. Plan the same thing as far as using it to make some money although unlikely to ever pay it off that way.
