Judging by way the ground is getting worn down in the path around the barricades, this guy isn't the only one going around.

There’s a lot not taught anymore. My wife took our 15y/o son to open a bank account last month. He didn’t know how to sign his name and had no idea what it meant when he was told to “initial here”.

Yeah, that's part of the problem.. the first guy does it, then the next guys sees his tracks around the barricade and now thinks "if somebody else did it, it must be ok" then the tracks just get more evident after every time and the problem just escalates possibly resulting in getting a trail closed, but this happened in CA, so I don't know how they handle it out there.

Ummm. seems the trail was already closed. How they going to close a trail that’s already closed?

I meant closed to all traffic/use or closing off an area completely if the public can't handle themselves. You know, a few bad apples ruin it for everyone.

Looks like it is just currently a width restriction based on what someone else on here said.

I said it could be a width restriction thats what they do with some of the trails here. but now that I see it’s 4 post instead of 2 I’m pretty sure it’s closed to all traffic.

I know exactly what your saying though a few bad apples can ruin it for everyone

oh ok, I wasn't sure if it was you that said that about width.

Maybe a sign that says "trail closed to motor vehicles" for those that don't understand what 4 large posts mean. I don't know what else you could do other than put up a larger barrier.

I think it went by way of shop, Phys Ed. spelling, music, cursive writing, how to read a dial clock, typing, basic business skills, American history, and actually being made to work.

    This joker again...

    tacomaz_
"This is my secret spot the county has tried to block us from going with boulders and now poles. But they know we are allowed to go there. Nobody hikes there. Nobody rides mountain bikes. It’s one tiny little scrap of nature we take our trucks for last 15 years and some guys I know for the last 30 years. The government (political rant deleted)"

If they put boulders and the poles... you are definitely not allowed to drive there... no matter how many years you've done it in the past.

So when do we say enough is enough and the government should stop taking public lands just to fence them up to keep them from us?

I have great neighbors. If this couple lived on my street we would get together and help them paint that house.

My boys scout den has already done that for a senior lady that can barely get about. Everyone had a great time and we made a weekend out of it.
