I love my Traeger, dad and brother have one too. None of us had any issues at all. Whenever I do hear of issues it seems they bought it at costco. There's speculation that costco has forced them to hit a certain price point to be sold there and they use inferior parts to meet those expectations with that retailer.

Unless something has changed since I bought mine last year, there are no specials or discounts to be had. @TheDECKEDGuy can chime in if he knows different. That being said, I did get the hookup with one of the small tool boxes, a yeti mug, and some other free shwag as a thank you a few months after my purchase.

Check in with the autoanything thread guy on here. He can set you up with a link to it with the best current price.

Link to thread... post in there or PM him.

It was the best price I could find. The freight company kinda sucked, but I'm somewhat used to dealing with shitty shipping companies.

If you haven't taken the best cookie ever (Oreo)

And cuddled it with the second best cookie ever (chocolate chip)

Baked it to perfection, and had one, you should add it to your bucket list. (Don't forget the insulin and test strips that you'll need afterwards)

I've made them a few times. You dont have to make many. I can eat half a bag of oreos at once if I want to. But one of these... good to go for one serving.

I have a Traeger. Quality has definitely gone downhill since they moved manufacturing to China.

I used to have an original one that was made in Utah(?). Thing was a beast. But I decided to upgrade size and have regretted that decision ever since.

The one I have is good enough don’t get me wrong but it’s not as consistent as the original one. Plus I can never get it anywhere near 450*. Which is the highest temp setting. At best I can get it to 385*.
