Fox 2.0 Coilovers in the front and Fox 2.0’s in the rear, Total Chaos UCA’s, Al-lpro expo leafs, K&N cold air intake, TRD headers,Magnaflow catback exhaust,URD short throw shifter, switched out my 60/40 bench seat for some Tacoma Limited seats, Replaced the vinyl shift boot for a leather one, completely soundproofed the cab w/ Frost King. Replaced stock radio with a Pioneer AVH series head unit. Focal component system w/a 10" sub powered by 2 Alpine amps. Weathertech floor mats. Line-X'd the bed. SCS Ray 10’s, Installed an A.R.E. MX series camper shell. All-Pro Apex front bumper w/ All-Pro skid plates all the way back to the Trans. Low Range fuel skid plate.
I would of loved to have built one but at the time I just happen to be in Denver so I went ahead and picked up a Roadshower 4 and I love it! Building one yourself you’ll probably save a couple hundred bucks.

Today was Fish Creek Wash and Split Mountain Road...First up were the Elephant Knees. This amazing formation was created over millions of years - its sedimentary layers deposited as part of the Sea of Cortez (Gulf of California) and prehistoric Lake Cahuilla (the precursor to the Salton Sea). And, like any sea-based sedimentary formation, the Elephant Knees are littered with fossils. From corals, clams, crabs, and shrimp to sharks, rays, and baleen whale - numerous fossils can be found in vast quantities in this area. In fact, vast quantities of oyster shells are what make up the slightly harder layers of sediment - slower to erode as the soft mud above and below wash away, these layers have become the "knees" of the formation...

Read the full story and see all the pics in Anza-Borrego Part 4 - Elephant Knees, Wind Caves, and Dinosaurs

I just bought my Tacoma this past weekend, and i'm hoping to get a RTT over the bed. Thinking Smittybuilt is what i'll go with, and not sure what kind of rack just yet.

    Also, totes.

Check out more options, styles, before you buy. It may be that after you get the one that you like ...... You find one you like better.
Ask me how I know that!!!

Totes ... That can start a discussion all on its own here. :)

Thanks guys. I’ve been researching them for a couple years. I pretty much know what I want; but my goal is to find it used from one of you that can’t make up their mind!:)

...we were a little worried about something else entirely: the longer we were on the tracks, the more likely we were to encounter a representative from the railroad. Rumor has it that this rail line is now used by migrants trying to enter the USA from Mexico, and so is randomly patrolled. And, as a narrow swath of private land running through Anza-Borrego, the rail company has apparently decided that the best way to reduce liability is to keep everyone off the tracks - by issuing hefty tickets to anyone they find along the line.

Whether that was true or not, we didn't really want to find out...

    Finally, we found it!

We took it all in. We enjoyed every minute. It had been a true Indiana Jones style adventure - one where we'd known what we were looking for, but not where to find it. One of those rare places that the Internet alluded to but never actually divulged the exact location. And in the end, I think that's what makes it so special...

And we captured it all in Anza-Borrego Part 6 - Finding Blue Sun Cave

Sheeeeeit, love the Flip PAC! Great color! Got mine in 2012 and it continues to perform flawlessly. This summer I am going to vinyl wrap it with a classy Griswold wood grain looking vinyl.

The one thing that you really need to watch out for is accidentally making babies up in that nest! My son is due in June, it happens. Wouldn't hurt to keep the torsion bar oiled up as well. High quality natural whale blubber lube works great for smoothing out any sorta friction and will also help prevent rust.... Enjoy and Be Well!

I picked up this 2019 Cherokee Wolf Pup 18TO back in early February, but the weather has been so cold, rainy, and miserable since then that I haven't had a chance to take it out. Finally, spring is starting to show itself so I'm doing the fresh tank flush procedure today, and will hopefully take it out on a two nighter in the next couple of weeks. 44' from the tip of the truck's front bumper to the tail of the trailer's rear bumper.

For those interested, this thing's GVWR is 4,999 so it's definitely towable with a Tacoma.
