I didn’t have plans to go to the taco meet personally. (Don’t judge me)

So the 13th is fine by me. I just didn’t want to put everyone else in a position to choose one or the other.

A lot of crap and too much money spent
Looks good so far, is that going to slide around once you have the platform in since it is not the size of the slots in the bed?

I'd like to go to the meet up... But I'm not driving 5 hours (round trip) for some tacos lol

I'm good to go on the 13th. I'm sure there'll be others that are down to wrench on some shit on the 13th too.

I have plans for a camper shell. This will be the sleeping platform once I’m finished. I don’t like how a lot of after market systems and some others sacrifice storage space. My whole goal is to keep as much open storage underneath. I’ll run cross supports and add some legs. Still have a lot to do. I may figure out some sliding drawers but I have to figure out if I’m willing to lose that space. I’ve got some ideas though.

Nah. It’s all part of my master plan.

Well then, clearly DMV gives no fucks.

Needed a 2nd form for the FAA a few weeks ago (can you say, sweet drone footage of trail runs?) and I used my renters insurance. Probably will use that again, but will have a copy of my comcast statement with me as well.

So I'm currently working on getting into merced PD. I made it through the written, interview and now I'm in the middle of background. My investigator emailed out questionnaires to all my references like 10 days ago or so. I let all of them know to keep an eye out for the email and to answer their phones if a 209 number calls. He had to call me today and tell me that not a single person has got back to him -_- gotta love that. So now I cant move forward until they respond to his emails/phone calls. Wtf lol

I'd say Jen is pretty excited about the RTT.

She started ordering some shit to make it cozy.

if you havent already thought of lighting inside. i used some 12V LED rope lighting, put it on the support bar inside across the top and it ran through my back window into the cab and plugged into the cig lighter port. only used it at night when getting ready for bed or early in the morning when waking up so didnt have to worry about it using the truck battery much at all. my girl has the same kind of stuff in her cart for the camp trailer later on lol
