    I've worked through multiple hiccups/quirks to try to get the software up and running. My processor is 64-bit but only the x86 version download would install successfully for me. And it installed only after I added a missing DLL, VCRUNTIME140.dll. Then my buttons in P5Flash remained greyed out, after I got my registration key and confirmed in Registry Editor that the changes were made. And my Tactrix cable only connects fully when I do Run as Administrator with the flash manager.

    Perhaps the Bootcamp quirks I am seeing are outliers. But based on my experience so far, I would start over and buy a cheap Windows dedicated laptop:

    Sanity Check please.

    Used standard cruise control today on my routine commute - 8 miles / city streets / under 50mph. It’s the first time I have used cc when not on the highway.

    It seems that the cc logic had much better control over the powertrain than I can accomplish using my right foot. Shifts and tc lock/unlock seemed much smoother.

    I’m guessing that the cc logic and tps are somewhat independent of each other.

    I tried to replicate the same behavior with my right foot only, but was unsuccessful.

    @OVTune can you explain?

    Wow, I just went from 1.05 91 base to 1.05 91 performance and what a difference it made! The throttle is a bit touchy and it upshifts a tad too soon but man-oh-man for highway driving this is the best. There truly is no need for ECT now which I have used since day one of buying my truck. I'm keeping this tune for sure. Good work Mat!

    I had a problem when going down hills that needed a bit of throttle to maintain speed. CC would buck and jerk the whole way done. It was always smooth on level pavement or going up hills. I had this with both the stock and TSB tunes. With 1.05 FOB 87 and 91 (MT), it will get what you could call a slight surge as I crest a hill, then is it smooth the whole way down. I almost shed a tear when I discovered this. In the past, I would shut off CC when going down hills.

    I did ask @OVTune about this, but no comment back.

    It could be the expanded map tables in 1.05 or just a generally happier motor?

    My complaint is not about cruise control, but rather the poor throttle control with the gas pedal that has always been present from the day I bought the truck. Cruise control works great in my truck on 91 Base with 33’s and armor.

    The TSB tune pretty much fixed any throttle control issues that I had. Regardless, CC wasn't good until OVT. It would be hard to go back to stock.

    Agree. Maybe post was confusing.

    Mat stated earlier that throttle position alone doesn’t determine the amount of throttle applied by the ECU. My point was that if the ECU can apply throttle and transmission control smoothly with CC, there should be a way that the pedal can do the same. Just my amateur opinion. Nothing more.

    ya, none of those are bootcamp issues, numerous people have had the same issues including myself with a regular laptop, it's just part of getting a program to run on a computer

    Maybe a little confusing, but I was looking for an opening to post my CC experience.

    In the past, I hated any car / truck with an electronic throttle body. I was in a continuous fight with the odd rubber band feeling. Weirdly, every DI motor that I drove always felt almost like a good old cable throttle EFI, except for the Taco. Mine had a bunch of little issues with a lot of inconsistency. The TSB fixed most of it, but OVT really makes it feel normal.

    Picked my 2018 Tacoma up today from dealer. I had TPMS valves put in. I asked for ECU update if possible. Freeman Toyota Ft. Worth said I had the latest ECU - 04A61
