I swear I also saw a Gladiator on the way to Denver two weeks ago. I'm pretty sure they're not on sale yet, but two of us saw it so I wasn't hallucinating.

Took the pinche taco in for some tint first thing this morning. Matched the factory rear, looks great from the outside, there's a slight color difference on the inside so I might go back and darken the back just enough to match the hue. Then again I only ride up front so what the hell do I care?

Then FedEx showed up. SO MUCH BETTER.

Then I had to take her to the car wash. Not a full wash, it's raining. Just a good rinse.

Looking at a 3 inch lift, I see the Bilstein 5100 shocks that people talk about and my local 4x4 shop is going to leave it up to me if I want to keep the factory Bilstein shocks or go with the 5100's. I'm stumped need advice on experienced users of the 5100's. My stock ride is pretty nice as is but if I lift it and put on bigger/better tires I assume the 5100's would be the choice.

I suspect you already know but a lift does little to allow for larger wheels and tires. The wheel backspacing and cmc/cutting of wheels well liners have more to do with tire size. I think a 2" lift will get you about 3% (basically one size larger tire) on your 2019. Above 2" or so you should be looking at UCA's and the ECBS, carrier drop and possibly diff. drop. 5100's are a very reasonable choice for a 2019 DCLB with a 3 leaf AAL and some OME coils. Important to remember that warranty issues that the dealer can specifically related to your modified suspension can be rejected. I also have a 2019 DCLB Off Road in the BEST color and am hesitant to lift for this reason. I can buy a pretty fine 1911 for the cost of that lift until my warranty is gone. I did bump a tire size to 265/70-17 with SEMA's and K02's and will let that be satisfactory for now.

Thank you, yes the shop mentioned the diff drop and I am looking at the KO2's on my stock rims later on once I put more miles on the stock tires so I don't feel so guilty about replacing them, he said the KO2's would be a little taller but I'm not looking at getting rid of the stock wheels. Yes I am aware of warranty issues but hey that's the price we pay to play.

I have 5100's and the ride is just as good if not better than stock (also this is going from stock SR5 suspension). IMHO the ride is pretty solid with the 5100's and OME 887's up front without being overly stiff. Planning on adding Deaver AAL to rear soon since I just recently added a camper shell and the back dropped slightly; figure the AAL should level things back out to get rid of the "bro lean".

Yup I had an SR5 too and that suspension sucked, I assume AAL is add a leaf, and not sure what these are ( looking at UCA's and the ECBS, carrier drop) ???

As far as warranty issues go, as I understand it the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act protects the consumer with warranty issues as long as the components are manufactured specifically for the year/make/model. Their is also SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) for your protection.

Yup and Im looking at a 5 shot 357 mag revolver short barrel, but not for $900 is what I was quoted for the lift with Bilstein's, w/o is a hundred or so cheaper so Im think now spend the extra for Bilstein's

Yes, they are add a leafs. Believe the carrier drop is only necessary for a lift 3" or greater as jamesfishn09 mentioned in his post.
