dealer wont hand over tags and truck isnt in my name

okay, over a month ago i bought a used dodge ram to use as my daily driver. the dealer i bought it from hasnt gotten my tags yet and my 30 day tag is expired. he keeps telling me he will have it the next day but never gets it. i got a police officer to run the vin # and the truck isnt even in my name yet, oh to mention the temp tag melted in the rain so i have nothing on there atm.

everytime i go to the dealer he says he will have it the next day and if i get pulled the police are required to give me a break cause its only an expired temp tag

how do i deal with him

Sounds like a shady dealer. Have you looked him up on the BBB for similar complaints?

 

Have a lawyer draft a letter. It'll be worth the cost.

 

Wear a disguise, drive the thing thru the dealership building, get out and go home. If they try to pin you on it just say hey, my name is not on the title, not me, not my truck and when they say that doesn't matter...get your wife or girlfriend to tell them how she was all screamin in ecstacy from your input and somebody musta stole it because when y'all were trying to go the ER for an erection lasting more than 4 hrs........you noticed it gone. Then say why? what happened?

go back to dealer and request another temp tag. does it normally take a month to get plates? if not i would give them a week to come up with some answers, if your not satisfied go to your states attorney with all your documents.
