I have my snap on tech angles. Love em for engine rebuilds. But if I did it over again I’d just get some precision instruments from tooltopia.

 

We run one of their compressors at the shop. It does its job. About the only thing i own from them

 

Craftsmen went to shit in the 90’s when they sold out to China. I’m surprised Sears is still around today for me to talk about it. They closed two stores near me, only one left.

 

Most... in the process of? All I know is we ain’t got none here.

 

There are plenty of Sears around here. Still alive somehow in big metropolitan areas and suburbs.

They closed a few, but I still see their service centers and appliance stores around.

 

We have one left. That’s it. Sad too

 

Idk if your hitch will affect this but...
Position bumper under truck (cardboard will prevent scratches).
Loosely install forward bolts.
Hinge the bumper upward.
Install aft bolts.

 

Stepping into any Sears is a sad and depressing experience. The fluorescent lights and bright white floor with tan shelving make you feel like you’re walking back into 1992.

 

Oh yes, my bumper didn’t fit the same after I installed the hitch. I never did those fine adjustments.

I did, you just barely loosen the bolt and smack with a rubber mallet until it looks right and then honk it back down

These big department stores took too long to adapt to the internet and e-commerce. Macy’s will follow into the footsteps of Mervyn’s and Woolworth’s.

The headquarters of Mervyn’s was in Hayward. Was abandoned for about ten years and they tore it down last year to build condos.

I didn’t realize it didn’t sit properly until I tried to put my hardline brake light back, looks fine otherwise.
