i dont think ive ever even heard of mervyns and woolworths... dont believe they were ever up here

 

I remember getting clothes as a kid at Mervyn's when we were particularly tight on money. It was sorta like Ross but dolled up to look like a JCPenney

 

Woolworth’s is an older department store, one of the big competitors of Macy’s. I was never around to see one in person.

Mervyn’s was like a discount K-Mart.

Also no idea how K-Mart is still around.

 

See, Ross and TJ Max is someone doing it right. Bright welcoming atmosphere, good products, and good deals.

i wish i was around for the area im ins hayday... back when hammond and gary were a big deal. some amazing places were here. 2 places are still around food wise... tiebels and Freddies steak house. both amazing.

 

Why go to a shooting range when the entire City of Gary is just one huge open world shooting range?

 

He's not that far from an even bigger range, beautiful (from inside a locked trustworthy car) Chicago.

 

Chicago is mostly safe. its the suburbs. hell where my dad grew up you cant safely stop in daylight

Lol yeah, just line my truck with some ar500 plates in the doors and around the engine. And drive by with beta mags

 

It’s not my fault, the stop sign never turned Green.

I’ll take some pics tomorrow if I still have them. They’re just 2” x 2” x 3/16” ish plate/square washers that shim the bumper brackets flush with the receiver hitch mounting arms for lack of a better term.
